What we repair

WordPress and almost any other stack

The company name is WP Support BC. The repair work is not limited to WordPress. We diagnose and fix CMS, commerce, and custom web apps — including malware cleanup — on the hosting you already use.

Examples of environments we work on — not partnerships or endorsements:

  • GoDaddy
  • A2 Hosting
  • Vercel
  • Cloudflare
  • cPanel
  • Plesk
  • Managed WordPress
  • AWS
  • Azure
  • GCP
  • Linux VPS
  • Windows hosting

What is broken

If the site is hacked, down, or behaving wrongly, start here

This is urgent diagnosis and repair — not a maintenance plan and not a rebuild. We work on the live site, on your current hosting.

Hacked, malware, and compromised accounts

Malware, backdoors, spam injections, defacement, blacklisting, stolen admin accounts, and suspicious redirects. We contain the issue, clean what we find, then harden the site.

Website down, white screen, critical errors

500 and 503 errors, WordPress critical error, white screen of death, database connection failures, and broken deployments. We stabilize first, then find the cause.

SSL, redirects, DNS, and CDN

TLS/SSL errors, mixed content, redirect loops, domain and DNS problems, and CDN or Cloudflare misconfiguration. We fix the chain so visitors reach the right site over HTTPS.

Forms, email, checkout, login, and APIs

Contact forms not sending, email delivery failures, checkout or login broken, plugin/theme conflicts, and third-party API integrations that stopped working.

Unknown issues — root-cause diagnosis

You only know that something is wrong. That is enough. We reproduce the failure, read logs, and isolate whether the cause is code, hosting, DNS, a plugin, or an integration.

Commerce platforms that commonly break

WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento, and BigCommerce checkouts, payments, and catalog failures — repaired in place, not replaced with a new store.

How repair works

Stabilize, Diagnose, Fix, Verify, Document

We do not start changing a live site until we understand the failure and have a rollback path.

  1. 1

    Stabilize

Stop the bleeding: contain a hack, restore a reachable page, or halt a redirect loop so visitors and admins can use the site again where possible.

  2. 2

    Diagnose

Reproduce the failure, read logs, and isolate whether the cause is malware, hosting, DNS/SSL, a plugin/theme, a deployment, or an integration.

  3. 3

    Fix

Repair the actual cause on your current host. Many issues take about two to three hours; it always depends on the case. We confirm scope before billable work.

  4. 4

    Verify

Confirm the site loads, forms send, checkout or login works, SSL is valid, and malware or error conditions are gone.

  5. 5

    Document

Write down what broke, what we changed, and the follow-up (hardening, backups, monitoring) so the same failure is less likely to return.

Time and scope

Most repairs take about two to three hours

That is a typical range for a contained issue once we have working access — not a quote, a guarantee, or a flat fee. Complex malware, missing backups, or tangled DNS can take longer. We confirm scope before work begins.

Typical duration

Many website issues take about two to three hours to fix. The case always decides the actual time.

Scope first

We review the symptoms, confirm what is in and out of scope, and send next steps before billable repair starts.

If it is down now

Submit the form and call. Typical written replies are within one business day; calling is the faster way to start the conversation.

How we work

Least privilege, backups, cleanup, then verify

You are hiring a BC practice that already does incident work, malware cleanup, and hosting recovery — remotely, on the stack you have.

Least-privilege access

Temporary access where possible. We ask for the least we need: CMS admin, hosting panel, or DNS — not a standing super-admin forever.

Backups before material changes

We take a backup (or confirm a usable one) before material changes so a repair cannot make a bad outage worse.

Malware cleanup, then hardening

Cleanup is not finished at “files look clean.” We remove backdoors, close the hole we can find, and harden what let the attacker in.

Verification after repair

We re-test the failing path — homepage, SSL, forms, checkout, login — before we call it done.

BC-based, remote repair

Burnaby, British Columbia. We repair sites across the province remotely. This is not an on-site visit unless we separately agree one.

Your host, not ours

GoDaddy, A2, Vercel, Cloudflare, cPanel/Plesk, managed WordPress, AWS, Azure, GCP, Linux or Windows VPS — we work where the site already lives.

FAQ

Website repair — FAQs

Yes. We work with your current host. No migration is required. GoDaddy, A2 Hosting, Vercel, Cloudflare, cPanel, Plesk, managed WordPress, AWS, Azure, GCP, Linux or Windows VPS, and similar environments are all in play — those are examples of where sites already live, not partnerships.

Yes. We repair WordPress and many other systems, including Drupal, Joomla, Sitefinity, Node.js apps, PHP apps (including Laravel), and commerce platforms such as WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento, and BigCommerce.

The least we can work with. Typically a CMS or admin login, hosting panel (cPanel, Plesk, or cloud console), and DNS access if the problem is SSL, redirects, or the domain. We prefer temporary access and we take a backup before material changes.

Yes. We contain the incident, remove malware, backdoors, and spam injections where we find them, close the hole we can identify, harden the site, and verify it is clean and reachable. Cleanup is followed by hardening — not a wipe-and-hope.

Yes. Mixed content, expired or mis-issued certificates, HTTPS redirects, redirect loops, DNS, domain, CDN, and Cloudflare problems are a common part of this work.

That is normal. Unknown issues are why diagnosis exists. Tell us what you see (error text, when it started, whether it is everyone or only some visitors). We find the root cause instead of guessing.

No. Repair happens on your current host. Migration is a separate service if you later choose it — it is not required to get a hacked, down, or broken site working again.

Typical form replies are within one business day. If the site is down or hacked, call +1 (778) 300-0574 so we can start the conversation sooner. Many repairs take about two to three hours once we have access; it always depends on the case. We do not sell a 24/7 emergency desk or a guaranteed same-day SLA for this service. Hosting SLA response times apply only to WP Support BC hosting customers.
