A care plan is an ongoing arrangement where we take responsibility for keeping your site updated, backed up, monitored, and reported on, on a cadence you choose — rather than you calling someone only after something breaks. Care plan and maintenance plan mean the same thing here.
Yes — each update cycle is typically 3–4 hours billed at $90 CAD/hr, roughly $270 to $360 per cycle. Your annual spend depends on frequency (Core 3×/yr, Pro 4×/yr, Plus 12×/yr).
Care plan cycles cover planned update, backup, and monitoring work. If a site is hacked or goes down, that is separate incident work — billed at the same $90 CAD/hr, so there is no surprise premium for calling in an emergency. See emergency website repair.
